Overview

The report presents TDM's 2019 sustainability initiatives across plantation and healthcare operations under People, Planet and Profit. It reports 1,895 Ha replanted in Malaysia, a 16.3% reduction in water consumption, and 95% biomass renewable energy at the Kemaman and Sungai Tong mills. Community initiatives included RM1,570,359 invested in local community well-being and over RM300,000 in healthcare programmes. The Group reported a workforce of 4,377 people at 31 December 2019 and reported under GRI-G4 and Bursa Malaysia's framework.
