Overview

The report presents the Telefónica Deutschland Group's first comprehensive account of sustainability efforts following the merger with E-Plus. It reports 8,803 employees at the 31 December 2015 reporting date and EUR 7,888 million in revenues. Environmental highlights include 74 % renewable electricity, total GHG emissions of 403,140 tCO 2 eq and a 34 % reduction in network energy consumption per customer connection since 2007. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G4 Comprehensive and received limited assurance from Ernst & Young.
