Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes Telenor Group's 2013 approach to material sustainability issues, including human-rights due diligence, labour-rights engagement and strengthened anti-corruption processes. It reports approximately 3200 GWh of total energy consumption and estimated greenhouse gas emissions of 1.1 million tonnes of CO2. Supply-chain work included close to 2,000 inspections and responsible-business agreements covering 98% of suppliers. The report also records two work-related fatalities in Pakistan.
