Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes TELUS' 2015 sustainability performance across its domestic and international operations, including 385,228 tonnes CO2e of total emissions and 1,316,444 eGWh of total energy use. It reports a workforce of 47,640 employees, nearly 11,000 tonnes of material diverted from landfill, and 851 million litres of water consumed. The report also documents a 25 per cent absolute GHG reduction goal by 2020 and a 90 per cent waste-diversion goal by 2020. Selected indicators received limited independent assurance from Deloitte LLP under ISAE 3000.
