Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report describes Tencent's 2025 progress in decarbonisation, including higher green-electricity use in owned and leased data centres and a 24.4% reduction in carbon intensity against the 2021 base year. It also highlights technology-enabled inclusion, including disability employment support and clinically deployed cognitive-health software. Governance advances include formalised Responsible AI principles, additional security certifications and a group-level Personal Information Protection Committee. Social impact remained substantial through scientific funding, philanthropic engagement and digital tools supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
