Environmental Report

Overview

The report presents TVO's 2023 environmental performance across nuclear generation, climate, water, waste and biodiversity. It reports combined TVO and Posiva Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of 2,337, 37,809 and 89,290 t CO2 eq, respectively. OL3 entered regular electricity production on 16 April 2023, and the TVO Group set a carbon-neutral operations target for 2030. DNV independently verified the report's scope and information accuracy.
