Overview

The report presents Ternium's 2019 sustainability performance across safety, environmental footprint, workforce, value chain, communities, and integrity. It reports 20,061 employees at year-end and 18.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, while recording a 99.6% material efficiency rate. The company also launched a new occupational health and safety strategy, maintained certified environmental and energy systems, and built a 100-bed field hospital in response to COVID-19.
