Annual Report

The report describes fiscal 2006/2007 as ThyssenKrupp’s most successful year, with consolidated net sales of €51,723 million and income before income taxes of €3,330 million. It reports 191,350 employees worldwide at September 30, 2007. Environmental measures included €520 million in ongoing environmental-protection expenditure and the EnviNOx process, which the report says was installed or under construction at ten facilities and would provide greenhouse-gas reductions equivalent to 7.5 million tons of CO2 per year.
