Overview

The report describes thyssenkrupp's 2017/2018 performance during a major strategic transformation, with group net sales of €42,745 million and 161,096 employees at September 30, 2018. Sustainability activities were managed by a Group Sustainability Committee, with indirect financial targets covering environment, climate, energy, purchasing and people. The company launched the CAPS climate program, reported more than 20 million tons of combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and continued its Vision2Zero safety initiative.
