Environmental Report

Overview

The report describes Toppan's first consolidated environmental accounting for the Group and provides group-level input/output data for fiscal 2000, including 13,487,000 GJ of energy consumption and 339,007 t of waste generation. It also records ISO 14001 certifications across plants and offices, including the Packaging Division's certification in March 2001. The report was subject to an inaugural independent review by Asahi & Co. for the year ended March 31, 2001.
