Overview

The report describes Toyo Denki's environmental and social contribution activities for fiscal 2010. CO2 emissions fell to 51.1% of the 1990 level, although total emissions rose 20.1% year on year. Office electricity consumption fell 20% year on year from March through May 2011, alongside power-saving measures at the Yokohama Plant. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, the group contributed ten million yen to relief efforts, while executives and employees donated an additional 2,120,963 yen.
