Overview

The report presents Tronox's first GRI Standards report under the Core “in accordance” option, covering a full year of the Alkali segment after its acquisition. It reports 2016 consolidated environmental performance, including 4.5 million metric tons of Scope 1 emissions and 1.4 million metric tons of Scope 2 emissions. The report also documents the opening of the Fairbreeze Mine and a worker fatality at the KZN Mineral Separation Plant.
