Overview

The report describes Gold Reef's 2009 sustainability reporting against the GRI G3 guidelines and expands selected indicators in response to stakeholder relevance. The company reports R24,9 million in group CSI commitments, including community, education, healthcare and heritage initiatives. It established the Gold Reef Resorts Training Institute, with group training spend at 2,3% of payroll, and also describes employment-equity, responsible-gambling, health-and-safety and HIV/AIDS programmes.
