Overview

The report provides Tullow Oil's first standalone Sustainability Report for some years, covering its 2019 environmental and social performance across responsible operations, shared prosperity, environmental stewardship, and equality and transparency. It reports Scope 1 emissions of 1,263,258 tonnes of CO2e and 80,475 tonnes of waste generated. Safety disclosures record a third-party fatality in Kenya, while female Board representation reached 38%. The report also describes adoption of TCFD recommendations and a Board commitment to net zero emissions.
