Annual Report and Accounts

The report presents Unilever's purpose of making sustainable living commonplace and describes the Sustainable Living Plan as central to long-term growth. It reports progress including 601 million people reached through health and hygiene initiatives, a 56% sustainable-sourcing rate for agricultural raw materials and a 47% reduction in manufacturing CO2 per tonne since 2008. The report also integrates TCFD climate-risk disclosures and notes that its carbon-reduction targets were approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative. Workforce disclosures include 160,566 employees and women holding 38% of Board seats at year-end 2017.
