Reimagining Landscapes

Overview

The report describes Unilever's support for five palm oil production landscapes in Indonesia and Malaysia, combining deforestation monitoring, forest restoration, sustainable agriculture, smallholder empowerment and human-rights work. It reports 778,000 metric tonnes of certified physically sustainably sourced palm oil purchased annually and 30,000 certified smallholder farmers benefiting from RSPO credits. Across the landscapes, the programmes encompass 2.75 million ha of forest and 265,000 smallholder farmers, while featured achievements include 150,000 ha of natural ecosystems protected and 1,500 ha restored.
