Non-Financial Report

The report presents UNIQA Group's consolidated 2024 sustainability statement prepared in accordance with ESRS and the EU Taxonomy. It reports gross Scope 1 emissions of 21,435 t CO2e, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 33,236 t CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 6,444,779 t CO2e; total energy consumption was 273,433 MWh, with 35% from renewable sources. UNIQA reports 16,394 employees and an SBTi-validated 42% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions from owner-occupied properties and the vehicle fleet by 2030, against a 2021 base year, alongside a Group-wide net-zero goal for 2050. The report also says the 2022 insurance-associated Scope 1 and 2 baseline for Austria was retroactively recalculated from 20,164 to 34,336 tonnes CO2e.
