Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is UAB's first sustainability report, covering its sustainability framework and ESG performance for 2020. It reports 11% of board seats occupied by women and records no fatalities or lost-time injuries. Environmental disclosures include 3,003.7 GJ of total energy consumption and 352.06 tons of CO2eq of total GHG emissions; total waste produced is shown as '-' because the municipality does not weigh waste. The report also describes community donations and employee-focused initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
