Environmental, Social and Governance Report

Overview

The report presents UBA's 2019 sustainability activities across its pan-African banking operations, including more than 113 solar-powered ATMs nationwide. It reports that paper usage fell by about 85 percent within the first three months of the paperless initiative and that females represented about 46% of the workforce and over 30% of management. The report also covers sustainable finance, materiality, employee wellbeing, community investment and SDG-linked initiatives.
