Overview

The report covers RUSAL's 2020 sustainability performance across governance, employees, health and safety, environmental protection, climate and communities. It reports 56,150 year-end employees, 38,609,817 t CO2-e total GHG emissions and a 35% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030. RUSAL highlights 98.5% hydropower in its aluminium-smelter energy mix, 16 ISO 14001-certified production facilities and seven work-related fatalities including contractors. It also details COVID-19 response, including USD 40.28 million invested in hospitals.
