Annual Report on Sustainable Practices

The report describes the University of California's 2015 commitment to reduce per capita potable water consumption by 36 percent by 2025. It reports that 66 percent of systemwide waste was diverted from landfill in FY 2014-15. Sustainable food procurement shifted $28.7 million, or 23 percent of reported annual food expenditure, toward local, fair, ecologically sound, and humane sources.
