Overview

The report describes USW's 2022/23 progress toward its Net Zero emissions goal for 2040. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions were 2,490, 2,278 and 37,871 tCO2e respectively, with Scope 3 increasing after staff and student commuting data was added. Total operational waste was 635 tonnes, of which 48% was recycled.
