Overview

The report highlights UTS's 2018 sustainability progress across operations and engagement. UTS signed a power purchase agreement for a solar farm expected to supply half of the university's annual electricity requirements, while greenhouse gas emissions fell 7.4 percent compared to 2017. The Plastic Free by 2020 Plan was endorsed, and total operational waste was reported at 958,586 tonnes. Sustainability activities included 51 events attended by 2,149 people.
