Sustainability Report

Overview

The report highlights that UTS reduced total greenhouse gas emissions by 19.1% to 31,841 tonnes and total waste by 36% to 832.2 tonnes in 2020. It also describes the installation of a 100 kw solar PV system and the move to fully online exams, which reduced paper use by approximately 8 million sheets. The report further records the establishment of an internal SDG Working Group to coordinate sustainability work across the university.
