Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents UTS's 2021 sustainability activities through the 17 UN SDGs, combining campus operations, research, teaching and community initiatives. The university achieved its long-term 30% greenhouse gas reduction target from the 2007 baseline and continued expanding rooftop solar to 1279kW. It also reports a 27% reduction in general waste, to 600,177 tonnes in 2021, alongside student support, wellbeing and gender-equity initiatives.
