Integrated Report

The report describes Vale's 2024 performance across mining, safety, climate and social reparation. The company reported four workplace fatalities, while continuing its zero-fatalities objective and advancing dam decharacterization. It set out a 33% absolute Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030 and reported 7.7 Mt CO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions plus 458.5 Mt CO2e of Scope 3 emissions. Circularity initiatives recovered more than 12.7 million tonnes of iron ore and the report also highlights progress on the Brumadinho and Mariana reparation agreements.
