Sustainability Report

The report describes Valio's SBTi-accepted climate targets and progress toward a carbon-neutral milk chain. More than 1,100 dairy farms calculated their milk carbon footprint, covering about 35% of milk received in 2021. It also reports a 6% decrease in Finnish operations' emissions from the 2019 baseline and notes that earlier raw-milk emissions figures were corrected as footprint data improved.
