The report presents Van Lanschot Kempen's 2019 transition from responsible to sustainable investing as a central theme. Sustainable and impact assets under management at Private Banking exceeded €2 billion, while the Kempen Global Impact Pool reached €100 million. The company reported 4,220 tonnes of absolute carbon emissions from its own organisation and committed to offset all such emissions. Employee engagement remained strong at 82%, despite organisational restructuring and workforce transformation.
