Overview

The report presents Vedanta's FY2022 sustainability transformation agenda, including a commitment to become net zero carbon by 2050 or sooner and a 25% absolute GHG-emissions reduction by 2030 from a FY2021 baseline. It reports the company's first Scope 3 assessment, with total Scope 3 emissions of 34.19 million t CO2e. Vedanta also signed agreements for 580 MW of round-the-clock renewable energy and reported 12 workplace fatalities during the year.
