Overview

The report presents Verizon's 2016 corporate responsibility priorities across shared success, product responsibility, environment, The V Team, supply chain and governance. It reports a 54 percent carbon-intensity reduction versus the 2009 baseline, achieved nearly four years ahead of the 2020 goal. Environmental highlights include 28.8 million pounds of materials recycled in 2016 and a new 120 million-pound recycling goal for 2020. Its community programs include Verizon Innovative Learning, which reached more than 200,000 students.
