Overview

The report covers the company's global business, combines sustainability and climate/TCFD reporting, and uses a double-materiality assessment. It reports 2022 gross Scope 1 emissions of 616,184 tonne, Scope 2 emissions of 218,839 tCO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 11,682,455 tCO2e, with Scope 1-3 emissions externally verified by Jacobs. Vermilion has set an aspirational net-zero target for its own Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050 and a 15 to 20% Scope 1 intensity-reduction target by 2025.
