Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Vesuvius' first coordinated sustainability programme, including a new governance structure and targets across planet, people, customers and communities. It sets a net-zero carbon-footprint objective by 2050. In 2020, global energy use fell 12.8% and total GHG emissions fell 14.2%, while the all-workforce work-related death count was zero. Year-end workforce data shows 10,354 employees and 44% women on the Board.
