Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report is Vinamilk's first standalone Sustainable Development Report, covering 2012 operations in Vietnam across dairies, beverages and dairy-cow breeding. It reports 4,853 employees, 3,556,419 m3 of consumed water, and 2,852,842 Kg of solid waste, alongside energy-efficiency and renewable-fuel initiatives. Governance was formalized through a sustainable-development structure, while the report says it was made with reference to GRI 3.1 and the Food Processing Sector Supplement.
