Overview

The report highlights FY2011 progress in campus sustainability, including a 4.0% reduction in energy-use intensity and campus GHG emissions of 330,372 tons CO2e. It records a 37.5% recycling rate and a 54% alternative transportation use rate, both ahead of stated goals. The Office of Energy and Sustainability also expanded its internship program to four interdisciplinary teams comprising 28 students and continued LEED, composting, renewable-energy, and academic sustainability initiatives.
