Overview

The report presents Viridor's first full ESG-focused year as a standalone company, alongside a major strategic reshaping toward energy recovery and plastics recycling. FY22 highlights include £556.1 million of underlying revenues, a commitment to achieve net zero across operations by 2040, and 3.2m tonnes of waste diverted from landfill. The report also establishes baseline ESG metrics, including gross Scope 1, 2 and selected Scope 3 emissions of 1,933,253 tCO 2 e.
