Overview

The report presents Vodafone's 2004/05 CR performance across its 16 mobile operating companies, with 57,378 employees. Energy consumption rose to 2,600 GWh and 11% of energy came from renewable sources. Network operations and offices produced 1.2 million tonnes of direct and indirect CO2 emissions, while 3,480 tonnes of network equipment waste were generated and 96% was sent for reuse or recycling. Deloitte & Touche provided limited assurance over selected CR management, data, and commitments.
