Corporate Responsibility Report

The report describes Vodafone's 2007 financial-year focus on extending access to communications through initiatives such as M-PESA and low-cost handsets. It reports 1.23 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and a 29% reduction in network emissions per unit of data transmitted. Network equipment waste sent for reuse or recycling reached 97%, exceeding the 95% target. The report also records no work-related fatalities during the year.
