Sustainability Strategy

The report describes the Association of Volksbanks’ revised ESRS-aligned materiality analysis, which considers environmental and social impacts alongside financial risks and opportunities. It identifies five ESRS reporting topics and ten sustainability goals, including a net-zero target for operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions. The report also identifies the Sustainability Committee (NAKO), made up of the Managing Board, as the central steering committee for sustainability effects, opportunities and risks.
