Overview

The report presents Volkswagen Group's 2025 sustainability performance under full ESRS application, including a double materiality assessment, a 60% reduction in absolute production Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from 2018, and a year-end workforce of 602,659 employees. It also reports 19.2 million MWh of Group energy consumption, 2,547,290 tonnes of waste and extensive climate, water, biodiversity and circular-economy actions. The Group continues to target net carbon neutrality by 2050 and reports progress across its regenerate+ sustainability strategy.
