Overview

The report describes Vulcan's first formal ESG materiality and risk analysis and introduces enterprise-wide goals for safety, employee engagement and climate change. It reports no fatalities in 2021, combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 1.15 million metric tons CO2e, and a 10% Scope 1 and 2 emissions-intensity reduction goal by 2030. The performance data also reports 98% of waste diverted from disposal and 11,317 employees. A TCFD-aligned framework and SASB index provide additional climate and sustainability disclosure.
