Sustainability Report

Overview

The report covers WACKER's 2019 and 2020 fiscal years and presents groupwide environmental, social and governance performance. In 2020, WACKER reported 14,283 employees, 1,285 kt CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 14,506 kt CO2e of Scope 3 emissions, and 200,160 tonnes of waste. It describes a 2050 climate-neutrality aim, a materiality analysis based on stakeholder surveys, and sustainability oversight through the Executive Board and Sustainability Council. The report also highlights 81 percent of key suppliers covered by a TfS audit or assessment and a Platinum EcoVadis recognition level.
