Overview

The report presents Watercare's 2013/14 performance against 49 targets across eight focus areas. The company produced 31% of its electricity needs internally and reused 84% of solid waste from its treatment plants. It also reports progress on the Puketutu Island rehabilitation project, with stage one completed in June 2014 and operations planned to commence in August 2014. KPMG provided limited assurance over selected non-financial information and the GRI 'in accordance' assertion.
