Overview

The report presents the Group's 2019 ESG performance across medical service quality, employee management, community support and green hospital operations. It describes board-led ESG oversight and an ESG working group, and reports 2,845 staff at year-end. Environmental disclosures include 13,877.9 tonnes of total GHG emissions, 9,711.6 MWh of purchased electricity and 349,477.0 m3 of water consumption. The Group also reports 3,388.6 tonnes of non-hazardous waste and 37.0 tonnes of hazardous waste, alongside health, mental-health and Tibet aid initiatives.
