Overview

The report covers Wesfarmers' wholly owned businesses and aggregates group economic, environmental and social impacts for the financial year ended 30 June 2005. It reports group totals of $8.0 billion in net sales, 19,667,816 gigajoules of energy use, 2,581,363 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and 29,600 employees. The report records no workplace fatalities and describes a 50 per cent annual accident-rate reduction target toward zero. An independent SMEC verification statement concludes that the report's numerical data are valid and accurate.
