Overview

The report presents Westports' 2020 sustainability performance across port operations, including 132,397 tonnes of Scope 1 emissions, 70,109 tonnes of Scope 2 emissions and water consumption of 1,120,883 m3. It describes the Green Port Policy, solar-energy initiatives, waste reduction, biodiversity work and extensive community programmes. The report also records a workforce of 5,455 employees and zero employee fatalities, alongside one third-party contractor fatality. Bureau Veritas independently verified selected sustainability information at a limited assurance level.
