Overview

The report presents Whitbread's Force for Good programme as a company-wide ESG strategy spanning Opportunity, Community and Responsibility. In 2021/22, Whitbread brought forward its Scope 1 and 2 net-zero target to 2040 and set Scope 3 reduction targets of 50% by 2035 and 64% by 2050. It reports 41% female representation in its leadership population, 99.9% operational waste diversion from landfill, and achievement of its £20m fundraising target for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
