Overview

The report covers Wienerberger Group activities in 2016 and reports 15,990 FTEs, revenue of MEUR 2,973.8, and 7,591 GWh of total energy consumption. Renewable energy represented 31% of electricity consumption, while 150,136 tons of waste were generated and 83% of non-hazardous waste was recycled. The Group reports two fatal accidents and describes continued Group-wide safety and zero-accident efforts. The report also presents its 2020 Sustainability Roadmap, materiality analysis, UN Global Compact progress and limited assurance over selected employee, energy and emissions disclosures.
