Sustainability Annual Report

Overview

The report describes Harper College's campus greening efforts, including energy-efficiency upgrades, energy curtailment, recycling, and upcycling. It reports a 2.6% reduction in overall carbon emissions since 2014 and highlights 1,497 kW curtailed during an energy test. Waste initiatives included repurposing 6,941 items since inception, recycling 14 tons of cardboard and 9 tons of metal, and constructing three composting test bins.
