Overview

The report presents WBHO's 2018 sustainability performance across human capital, safety, environmental management, quality, and transformation. Group headcount rose 12% to 11 018, while the report records three work-related fatalities, including one subcontractor. South African operations reported 33 667 tonnes of waste and 47 968,31 tCO2e of carbon emissions, with Scope 1, 2 and 3 disclosed separately. WBHO also retained OHSAS 18001 certification, transitioned its environmental system to ISO 14001:2015, and achieved Level 1 B-BBEE status.
